What are some cult classics of your generation? Shows you love to watch more than once, or recommend to your friends?
I'm looking through my Netflix queue and some shows I still enjoy and would recommend to friends are:
1: I.T. Crowd (<-- British accent)
2: Avatar: The Last Airbender (excellent story :) )
3: Battlestar Galactica (science/space fiction!)
4: The Lost Room (an odd but great miniseries)
5: Chuck (girl meets geek boy, geek boy becomes super spy)
Some movies that I enjoyed were:
1: The History of Future Folk (heartwarming)
2: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (how the evil genius became evil)
3: The Fifth Element (I've seen this too many times to count)
These are probably more representative of my generation's (25 - 35) tastes and probably indicate that I have an odd sense of humour. I realize that humour is some of the hardest TV to translate, but I think it's worth it when you get the joke :)
Y Tu Mamá También <---Spanish film.
The first scene of 'Y Tu Mamá También', is interesting.
Amar en Tiempos Revueltos and Soy Betty, La fea.
I wish I could edit the original post. Now that I read it, it's not at all obvious that was what the shows I listed were. I apologize to anyone who looks these up and can't figure out how to turn on the Spanish audio track :)
Yes, sorry! I was hoping to offer my favorite American shows and others might offer their favorite Spanish shows.
