Yesterday a boy on italki said me that he know little about my country except that there are plenty of beautiful girls in the Miss World competition haha, this make me laught! Why do the peoples know only that of Venezuela? If Venezuela is a beautifull country!, my country has beautifull places, "La Gran Sabana", "El Salto Angel", has beatifull beathes. I know that we have economics problems, culture problems but I love my country and I want that the peoples of all world know other importants things of my country and do not only the miss world :D
Yeah venezuela is well know to have beautiful women in miss universe competitions. Of course they have good places as you say. I think it's a good place to go, they also have a lot of oil :p it can increase your economic in the future for the country.

In 1971 my wife and I visited Venezuela for ten days. We drove south from Cumaná through Maturin, Ciudad Guyana, Guasipati, and ended up at a place called simply Ochenta y Ocho because it was at Kilometer 88 on the highway, near Guyana. There was no real town there, and no real lodging--there was some kind of mission and they let us hang up our hammocks in a spare room. We saw the Gran Sabana, and in the distance we saw a tepui--I think it was Roraima but I'm not sure. We also rode the teleferico at Caracas on a moonlit evening, and saw fog below us, filling Caracas like a goblet full of mist.
Besides what you've mentioned, I also heard about the increase of the insecurity. In a local tv show, it was mentioned about a law, I don't remember the exact name right now, that allows the goverment to set the products prices. Finally I also heard about the 'expropiations', a very common move of Chavez's goverment. What do you think about politics and those subjets of your country?
