Strange dreams(Writing Challenge day 22) Psychologists interpret dreams as they are reflections to our real life. They are hidden thoughts, impressions and buried feelings. In my community people care about what they see in their dreams. They rush to interpret it when they wake up happy but try to forget it if it is a nightmare or bad one. It is well- known that when you see a snake or a scorpion, they mean you have enemies round you. When you see that you are eating something delicious, you will gain money and when you see yourself crying, you will be happy and other interpretations which are based on old opinions of dream interpreters. The dream that always accompany me is that I walk bare-footed outside home. When I tried to get the meaning of that usual dream, I found different interpretations. The one that convinced me was that it means you face life’s difficulties. I don’t pay much attention to dreams as we see a lot of stuff on the internet and that create various impressions in our inners. Those impressions are being interpreted as dreams. I have kept a "dream journal" for many years and am always interested in the topic of dreams and dreaming.

Usually if I want to talk about an action in a dream, I don't say "I saw myself eating fruit" or "I saw myself crossing a bridge." I'll say "I dreamed that I was trying to cross a bridge" or "I had a dream where I was trying to cross a bridge." When I want to talk about a thing in the dream, then I'll say "I saw a snake in my dream." (Also, I think the British use "dreamt" as past tense, but hey, I'm American, so I always write "dreamed.")

A dream that you have many times over several weeks, months, or years is a "recurring dream" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recurring_dream.) I hope this helps! Very interesting topic.

Don't forgot the famous interpretation for seeing shoes in the dream ;) It means a man will ask for your hand in marriage if you are single :D hehe Actually, yes! I'm afraid that some of my dreams came true. I seem to know the reality of people in my dreams!
