할아버지 - halabeoji - grandfather
할머니 - halmeoni - grandmother
손녀 - sonneo - granddaughter
How are you Andy? I recomment not to use Romanization when you learn other language. Cuz it seems easier for the first time, but it also can makes you confused and delayed to learn properly. So, please learn Korean Alphabet and its own sounds and pronounciation properly first, then it will be very easy to read and right properly.

questions
1. In Korean, do you "own" relations as you do in english?
We do, but most of Korean prefer to use '우리' term.
예) 우리 할머니(my grand mother but technically it means our grandmother)
우리 손자(my grandson but technically it is our grandson)
우리 남편(my husband but technically it is my husband)
Yes, of course you can use, '나의(내)' such as '제(내) 할머니, 내 손자, 내 남편', but normally Korean people use '우리' terms more often than '나의(내)'.
ie "my car", "my son", one shows ownership, one shows a relationship.
Even, for ownerships like '내 집' preferly used as '우리집'
But again, you can use both, ;)
