Task:

Computers can translate all kinds of languages now. Will children need to learn foreign languages in the future? Or can they rely on computers to do all their translations for them? Discuss and state your own opinion.

Essay:

Nowadays with an enormous pace of technology growth humanity has all kinds of machienes machines that make our life easier. It is also applicable to translational services.

There are plenty of applications available that can be installed even on smartphones, what which makes them more attractive and availible. Translators significantly facilitate to our travaling travelling, reading international literature and many other activities that involve interaction with foreign language languages.

Howewer, there are some disadvantages in of this technologie technology. These computerized translations are not always accurate and do not sound natural in most cases. Moreover, it is not possible to use computers for life speech translation as typing the desired phrase consumes a lot of time. In addition to this, our the digitized result is not able to express our emotions and feelings.

I believe that computers can’t cannot substitute real knowledge of foreign language, languages because it is not only ability to find appropriate words but it is also a new way of thinking. Ability to think is what differs us from computers. I’m totally agree with the phrase of a famous philosopher Dekart “I think, therefore I am”. May be in the distant future we will have more advanced translation technologies, but nowadays children should learn languages at least to bring these technologies to life.
