Transport in my town

I live in a beautiful ancient town in the south of Spain, called Ronda.
Ronda is a very quiet, small town, a very where we can live agreeable place to live. However, there are some problems.
One of the problems in my town is public transport. In Ronda there are only a few public buses and you never know when they will get where you are waiting to go, so that you cannot take the bus when you are hurry. Also the buses only operate until nine o'clock.
It is true that Ronda is a small town, therefore you can go everywhere on foot to all places and it only takes you about 45 minutes to walk through the town about 45 minutes, but if you cannot walk, sometimes you will need to take a taxi. Taxis are very expensive and there are no taxis at night, so when for that reason whether you need a transport at night you have a problem.
In addition, there are no cycle lanes, therefore going by bike can be dangerous.
Many people go to work by car, hence the traffic can be awful at rush hour. Also,
Ronda's streets are usually narrow and driving in the old quarter can be very difficult.

In my opinion, the local politicians should worry about this problem, then they could add more buses and several cycle lanes, but they are worry about other themes(problems?).
