Yes! I’ve made a Public Video Pledge for the 2014 New Year’s Language Challenge

Chinese tones are not easy at all! It's like you're singing some complicated melody!
And when my teacher and language partners correct me, I can't hear the difference between the right and wrong way to pronounce the phrase! :D

Anyway, I am sure I just need to practice some more. I am also used to people laughing when they hear my Chinese! That's fine, I don't mind :)

<em>[Very good.  I'm studying Chinese, and there's always the danger of the phrase "Where is the train station?" being translated as "You look like an ape." if you get the tones wrong.  I'm getting better, though.]</em>
