Important characteristics of a co-worker We all work or will work in our jobs with many different kinds of people. In your opinion, what are some important characteristics of a co-worker (someone you work closely with)? Use reasons and specific examples to explain why these characteristics are important We spend half of the life sleeping. However, we spend the biggest part of the rest time of the life working. We all want to work in comfort. Despite this we all have experienced those morning’s feelings when we did not want to go to the job because of the situations caused by people with whom we work. In this essay I am going to describe the most important characteristics of a colleague. The first major thing any co- worker must have is patience. We all have had such colleagues who shouting on you without any reasons. No one wants to work with a time bomb that could explore once you have touched it. There is no place for anger in job. From the other side of view, all of us have experienced stress, so why is not it available for our colleagues? I do believe that we should not be robots that do not have any feelings and that we should be patience to impatience of others sometimes. The other important characteristic of a co-worker is willing to play in a team. There is not a professional sphere in which people can allow themselves to play single and it is really hard to work with someone who wants to take your position. Such sorts of people try to destroy your moral and to show that he or she is better than you. I do believe that career movements are gifts for efforts and hard work, but not for being more ambitious than others. To conclude, it is really hard to work with people who can only think about themselves. Therefore, I do believe that patience and willing to play in a team are the most important characteristics of any co-worker.
