A seed should be protected.

Making a garden is a way for me to relax.  To touch the earth and to dirty the hands.  Sniffing its smell - it makes me feel a contact with nature.

The main miracle is, and will ever be, the seed's transformation; it gets wet and with warmth, grows; it opens itself and timidly breaks out.  That's life!

It is also true that without water it will die, and without help cutting the grass that surrounds it.  It is a weak thing that needs to be supported, to be caressed, to be cuddled; don't leave it alone...defend it from any insect attack!

Its shoot could begin to become a tree, a home to many, a shelter of shade.
