RAFTING, A SPORT FOR DISCOVERING
Extreme sports are forgotten in the biggest competitions of the world. Except for a few ones, which we can consider "extreme", others such as mountainering, rock climbing, kayaking or rafting aren´t considered important enough or deserving to be seen by audiences, in contrast to football that has been "the sport" in the last century. However, lastly, doing extreme sports are being done by an increasing number of people.
People who love these kinds of activities are active, passionate about nature and brave. If you aren´t a thrill seeker, please don´t practise these sports unless you don´t want to end up crying or feeling fear.
Rafting is my favourite sport though I´ve never done it. I love water, swimming in the sea or rivers, and I have to say that I´m really good at swimming. I don´t really know why it attracts me, but I think rafting not only is practised on the water, my passion, but you can also feel the adrenaline of going over strong water torrents and, above all, doing it by teams. It´s fantastic!
Javier Maroto, the famous rower, said that the first time he tried rafting he felt completly free. In his own words "the first time you go on a rafting boat you feel scared and excited at the same time. It´s a unique experience which everybody has to try"
I strongly think that I´ll try rafting when I have the chance to do it and if you, readers, want to make a team, please let me know it.
Please not only do I want to know mistakes, but also if it has a correct style. Thanks
