First I will correct the russian translation:
"Потому что о чем бы он ни мечтал - о Прекрасной Даме или о Революции (?)], - ничему из этого не суждено было сбыться".
It can be translated approximately as:
"Whatever he dreamed about - Fair Lady or Revolution, - nothing could become true"

Because of if he had dreamed about anything like beautifull lady or revolution music nothing have happend nothing became real
