CHILDREN TODAY TAKE MATERIAL CONFORT FOR GRANTED. We have frequently heard that our parents’ past had been tough and difficult. In fact, children didn’t have most of technological devices that today are useful to entertain. For instance, computers and mobile phones. Do children fully value what they have? To start with an example, at Christmas, they are usually lucky and get what they wanted. The majority of children have more than one present, that could make them underestimate what they have. Actually, they can be fed up of playing to the same game all the time, but, they can play with another one. Some years ago that was not possible, as they had just one present if they were lucky.
