Should we take a secure job right away, or wait for a job that would be more satisfying? When it comes to job seeking, some people hold the opinion that if we have the opportunity to get a secure job, we should take it right away rather than wait for a job that would be more satisfying. I, however, strongly disagree with this opinion. There are several reasons for this. To begin with, a secure job is not equal to a good job. Everyone wants to find a good job rather than a secure job, and usually a good job is not easy to obtain, so people need to make more efforts and even take risk for a good job. For instance, when I graduated from university, I got a secure job, but I did not sign the contract right away, because I believed I could get a better one. And after about two months' job seeking and lots of interviews, I got a job that is more satisfying. Thus, I think sometimes we need to be patient and believe ourself that we can find a better one, or we are losing better opportunities. Another reason is that if we can get a secure job, then we can try our best to find a good job. Usually, lots of students do not believe themselve, and afraid that they may loss the secure job. A secure job in fact is easy to obtian, so if we have got a secure job, it is not neccesary to worry about lossing it. For example, I have lots of classmates, who got lots of offers when they were looking a job. But they do not sign the contracts right away, because they believe themself and they want to find a better one. And at the end, most of them find their satisfied jobs. Last but not least, if we take the secure job right away, maybe we cannot keep it for a long time, as it is not the job we want the most. People often want to achieve better career goals also earn a better salary, but a secure job usually cannot provide us these. To achieve a better career also a better working experience, I think, it is important to find a satisfied job. Otherwise, a secure job maybe puts us to much trouble also makes us unhappy. In conclusion, it is easy to find a secure job, but to achieve a better career, it is better to be patient to find a job that is satisfying. (I am not setting up a discussion.
