"laten zien" of andere synoniemen? While coming back from the shop I've been on the phone (Skype) with a friend. A woman passed by and she thought that I took her a photo, but I just showed to my friend flowers on the bicycle of this woman, so she followed me and asked about it. In Dutch, so I responded in Dutch. I did not know how to say "showed", but she used this word. How can I say it in other words than "laten zien". I mean a sentence - "I just showed her the flowers on your bicycle" Ik heb haar de bloemen laten zien ?

It's the best way to say it indeed. In this context, to translate 'to show' to 'laten zien' is correct. "Ik heb haar (mijn vriendin) de bloemen achterop uw fiets laten zien" "Ik liet mijn vriendin de bloemen achterop uw fiets zien"
