Actually, many famous athletes have a lot of injuries which are harm to their health . In the other words, they are using their health in exchange for the high wages earned. Those famous athletes like Yao Ming or Kobe Bryant can often use their influence to do charity work and help those people in the poor areas or some who are disabled. This is also a way to benefit society.
in my opinion, I think it is justified because they should are under huge pressures which common people cannot imagine and at the same time it indicates that our society puts more attention on sports than any other profession.
