A stranger It was predawn when the train arrived. The departure time of the early bus was still one hour ahead. There was a McDonald's opposite the bus stop, which was still open so I decided to stay there for a while. I thought I should order something although I had no appetite at all. But they had nothing but spicy hamburgers and coffee right then. As I said, it was still predawn and they didn't have much to serve. I was totally not a fan of spicy food. I would not sit there eating the spicy burger with snot and tears running down on my face like a flood. Nothing ordered, I walked towards the table by the window and sat there reading the e-book on the phone. Then I felt something strange. A guy stinking of alcohol was peeking at me! No, not peeking at all. It was too obvious to ignore him. "Is there any problem, sir?"I finally asked. "No no no no, not at all." said the guy with his hands waving. Then I returned to my book, deciding to ignore this stranger. But he was still standing there, watching me. He even bent his back to look at me upside down! I swear, for a second I suspected he was a lackwit indeed. It was rude to say that but there must be something wrong with him. "Is there anything I can help, sir?" I asked again, smiling politely. I'm a person with good manners after all. "No no no..." he still denied, "I was wondering...are you a male or a female?" WTF...WTF...WTF... What an interesting question was that! I couldn't possibly put on the "what the bloody hell" face! Instead, I answered, "A female, so anything else?"still trying to smile politely. "Sorry...I mistook you for a man...you have a handsome looking." he said. "It's alright." I replied. I returned to my phone, again. The guy didn't seem to be leaving though. Then he sat down opposite me. "Who on earth is this bloody drunkard! Why don't you just leave me alone!"I screamed in my mind. Then he tried to chat with me. Instead of driving him away, I talked to him and answered several questions with lies mixed with a little bit truth. That was what a clever liar would have done. He was no man of charm at all. Only a fleshy babbling drunkard. Although from the way he talked he seemed to be sober and normal. He was really really talkative. I got bored soon and replied with some meaningless words. I remembered him talking of thieves and plainclothes police. He claimed he could easily tell a cutpurse or a plainclothes policeman from a crowd. I didn't pay much attention to that. A stranger

It was twilight when the train arrived. The departure time of the early bus was still in one hour.
There was a McDonald's across from the bus stop, which was still open so I decided to stay there for a while.
I thought I should order something although I had no appetite at all.
But they had nothing but spicy hamburgers and coffee right then. As I said, it was still twilight and they didn't have much to serve.
I was totally not a fan of spicy food.
I would not sit there eating the spicy burger with snot and tears running down on my face like the flood.
Nothing ordered, I walked towards the table by the window and sat there reading the e-book on my phone.
"Is there anything I can help you with, sir?" I asked again, smiling politely.
I'm a person with good manners after all.
"No no no..." he still denied, "I was wondering...are you a male or a female?"
WTF...WTF...WTF...
What an interesting question was that!
I couldn't possibly put on the "what the bloody hell" face!
Instead, I answered, "A female, so anything else?"still trying to smile politely.
"Sorry...I mistook you for a man...you have a handsome looking face." he said.

Instead of driving him away, I talked to him and answered several questions with lies mixed with a little bit of truth. That was what a clever liar would have done.
He was no man of charm at all. Only a fleshy babbling drunkard. Although from the way he talked he seemed to be sober and normal.
He was really really talkative.
I got bored soon and replied with some meaningless words.
I remembered him talking of thieves and undercover police. He claimed he could easily tell a cutpurse or a undercover policeman from a crowd.
I didn't pay much attention to that.

of uniformed police came in the McDonald's to made an inspection tour. Then one of them walked towards where we sat and asked the guy opposite me, "Do you have Identity Card on you?" "Nah."answered the guy. "Come with us, then." the policeman waved his arm and said. The stranger stood up right away and followed them out. Leaving me full of doubts. "Who on earth is this bloody drunkard????"
