Neue Freunden!

Heute habe ich zwei neue Freunden erfüllt (gewonnen?). Einige dieser Freunden sind aus Ägypten, und das die andersen sind aus Afghanistan. Ich freue mich vielsehr, mehr darüber zu lernen. [In this case, this option makes more sense]

If you wanted to say in line 1, that you found two new friends, you'd better use ''gewonnen'' or ''gefunden''. Further, as you have said that you talk about two new friends, you use ''einige'', which means ''some''. And ''some / einige'' mean at least two. So you have to have found more than two new friends, if you then say that some or one other(s) come from Afghanistan. Reply if you have another question. :)
