World's Waning (A Poem)
The world is waning.
Look my love!
Take your wand
and wave a dove;
fly it freely
high above
into the lands
of free fairies;
let the brightest
feelings out;
urge the swallows sprout
to the highest,
vastest,
endless dreams.
The world is sinking
into streams
of dried up fears,
soulless inks.
Do your magic,
free our wings
from the fetters
of real things;
let us soar off
into skies,
come on my love
wink above
the seeming
numb
of this worldly
being.
The world is waning.
Look my love!
Take your wand
and wave a dove.
