Sleeping Beauty

Hi. Today I read a fairy tale Sleeping Beauty in English. It is a wonderful story, where good triumphs over evil. This fairy tale was not difficult for me, because I know this story from childhood. It's good, when it ends well. In This story realized tells the dream of many people. Everyone wants to sleep and wake up in a hundred years.

Comment: I'm not sure that it is the dream of many people to go to sleep for 100 years. When you wake up, everyone who you have loved would be dead, nothing and no one would be familiar. Imagine if you went to sleep in 1916 and woke up now. In 1916, televisions had not been invented yet. Now we have televisions, computers, the internet, cellphones, and so many more devices that did not exist in the early 20th century. In 1916, most homes didn't have a phone and most people still did not own a car. That means that anyone that woke up now, after sleeping for 100 years would have so much to learn that he or she would probably want to go back to sleep.
