TV is able to give us a new lease on life. For instance, I was so bound and determined to fulfill my lifelong ambition when I watched a documentary on the founder of Ford Motor Company life, Henry Ford. Through hard work and perseverance, Ford worked his way​ up to producing a revolutionary motor.

The grammar is excellent! The only errors are semantic:

"New lease on life" means a fresh start. Typically, one would use this idiom if they were close to giving up and then saw something that re-invigorated them. If you were already determined to fulfill your lifelong ambition, then you didn't need a new lease on life.

"So bound and determined" is typically followed by "that ____________." For example, I was so bound and determined to pass the test that I stayed up all night studying.

Ford didn't work his way up. This implies that he started in an entry-level or low-level position and was gradually promoted through the company. Ford started his own company after building engines in his garage.
