Profesjonalny nauczyciel"Ask her" or "Ask to her"
I am confusing and want to know either is there is way to say "Ask to her" or "Ask by her" instead of only saying "Ask her" or "Ask Jennifer". because when I translate "Ask her" in other languages specially in my native language we use preposition between "Ask & her"
for example
Ask her = Ask to her (the translation look like this)
I know this is incorrect English, but still the sentence "Ask her" having a sense like "Ask from her" can anybody explain me in detial

"Ask to her" or "Ask by her" are both incorrect.
The correct form is "Ask her" or "Ask Jennifer".

The phrase is always "ask her", but the word "ask" can have different meanings:
Ask her a question.
Ask her to help you. (Ask her for help, ask her for a favour).
In some languages, the two sentences above would use different verbs (for example Russian спрашивать and просить or Spanish preguntar and pedir). Maybe your language also uses different words? But in English, in both cases the verb is "ask" and you just say "ask her".

@Jacolby. Thanks for explanation, you are right that in English sometime we omit preposition where as in other languages we use a lot

Hi, Muhammad! We normally use the pattern "ask + object," the object being a noun or pronoun so "ask her" is correct. Also, we can use "ask" with prepositions like "about" or "for." For instance: (1) Please ask Muhammad about the project. (2) Muhammad asked his parents for some advice. Hope this helps.
Note: Please write your question in the "Questions" section. :)
