Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a student working part-time at the university’s library and I took the liberty to write you this e-mail to report several problems hoping that it’ll help foster a better studying environment.
First, the air conditioner on the second floor has been out of order for a few months and it would be greatly appreciated if it could be replaced. Second, most of the science books/manuals are outdated and I believe it’ll be best to replace them with more recent versions.
Such improvements will help create a better work environment and attract more students which can also improve their academic level. I genuinely hope you can take these pieces of advice into consideration.
Yours sincerely,
LiMing.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a student who works part-time in our university library. I am writing to you with some suggestions to improve our study environment.
First, the air conditioner on the second floor has been out of order for a few months. The library is hot and stuffy and we would be grateful once the air conditioner has been repaired. Also, I have noticed that most of the science books are out dated. Could you please replace them with updated versions?
A better environment would attract more students to study here which would also improve our whole academic level. I genuinely hope that you take these suggestions into consideration.
Yours sincerely,
LiMing
