我觉得对了,应该是by the way。 I‘ve found my magical beans。

Oh, that's right, ... (when one suddenly remembers sth one wanted to mention) / Oh, by the way, ... However, the intonation patterns are important here. A few more: Yeah! Hey, I was going to say... Yeah! And I just remembered.... 算了吧 = Just forget it, OK?

Look/Oh, i forgot to tell you something. Forget about it. Nothing actually matters.

I would like to say " well, I forgot to tell you." or formally "OK, there is a thing you should know". It actually depends on the circumstances. "Forget about it, it doesn't matter."

"Oh ya, I forgot to tell you something...:" We say this all of the time, but it is oral English not written. 算了 = "forget about it" or "forget it". I think "don't worry about it" and "it doesn't matter" are closer to "没有关系“。 What do you think?
