The author didn't make the mangoes yellowish-red, unless he's God or some wizard, maybe Harry Potter, though I highly doubt it. And Bananas don't turn black, they turn brown. Google it. :P

Well did the author made your mangoes yellowish-red?and tell your author that when a banana rots it becomes black and not brown. I can help him identify colors :D

Well you can go argue about this with the actual author of the riddle. I did not make it, I simply put it up here for fun. And the answer I have is banana.
