displaced - moved from one place to another
expel - forced out of one place
take note of the verbs- 'force' is to move without want, 'move' just to relocate regardless of want or not

'Displaced' and 'expelled' means two different things:
1. Displace is to cause something to move from its usual place;
2. Expel is to force someone out of a country (in the example used above).
