First step: work on your vocabulary. Look at the site www.freerice.org, which was designed to help US high school students improve their vocabulary. Second, make sure your reading comprehension is adequate. Pratice TOEFL tests are a good tool, and will familiarize you with the test format. If you need more reading material, use high-quality English sites -- BBC, the New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times come to mind. Third, you need to really work on your writing -- and you will need a tutor for that. You cannot teach yourself how to write. If your listening comprehension is weak, you must listen to spoken English. Not movies or music. Listen to high-quality spoken English, like the news, like speeches, like class lectures, etc. Figure out (probably with a tutor) when you plan to take the test, and set up a timeline. Plan to do something 6 days a week to help you score well on the test. (I am an English teacher and have helped people with this kind of test, so I think know what I am saying)
I hope this helps. If you want to chat more about this, let me know.
