old dog kicked up! This romeo is bleeding,but you can't see his blood It's nothing but some feelings that this old dog kicked up! What "this old dog kicked up" means! "this old dog" is the romeo referring to himself. It's an American idiom in which old men are referred to as "old dogs". There was even a movie by that name: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0976238/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 "kicked up" is brought up or stirred up, arising.
