What's the difference ? I'm wondering about the difference between 僕 , 私 , 俺 , and あたし ? All of them means "I / Me" , right ? And how to use them to make a sentence ?

samin is almost right. In Japanese, "I" in English has a lot of phrases. As you showed us, all the words "私、僕、俺、あたし" mean "I". But they are used in different sex and in the situation. They have the meaning "I, my me, mine" But there are some words put after it. I => 私は・が my => 私の me =>私を・に mine =>私の・私のもの 私 is the most formal and polite word. Men and women can use this. Especially men can use this in formal situations like "interview". あたし is a women's word. It's a casual word. Sometimes it sounds rough. But some young girls use this. Of course, adult women also use this when they talk with their close friends. 僕 is a men's word. It depends on the situations but it is used in a casual and an formal way. Most young boys use this. But when they grow up, they don't use this. If the adult men use this, it sometimes sounds childish. It is acceptable for adult men to use. 俺 is a men's word. It's casual. Most men use this when they talk with their close friends. Ex. 私がこの会社を志望した理由は。。。。 あたしは嵐の方が好きだな。 僕はハンバーグが食べたい。 俺、明日バイトなんだ。 men's word = masculine(male) word women's word = feminine(female) word

Oh already nice answers, but just let me try. What Samin and mog1mog said are correct. わたし and あたし are used by women. So you use わたし or あたし. あたし is more informal. If men say わたし, it's mostly formal situations, or they want to behave in a formal way. All of them means I/ Me / my and mine. They are usually followed by a small letter, like は, が, に, and の etc For example : わたしは わたしの かれに プレゼントを あげました。I gave my boyfriend a present. わたし(は) わたし(の) かれ(に) プレゼント(を) あげました。 ( ) are those small letters. かれ or かれし means one's boyfriend in Japanese. 私のカレは私にプレゼントをくれました。 My boyfriend gave me a present. In the 2 sentences, 私に is me. かれに is him. 僕 is kind of more gentle or soft way to say 俺 used by men, so if you use them, it would sound a little strange in general. Now maybe you try to make a sentence? ^^ Okay, thank you.
