it's the same. Both mean "and". However the common one is the "και".
You use "κι" more for vocal reasons, if for example the word that follow starts with a vowel .
The change of course is in the written language because when you speak both of them are heard the same with a little exceptions
If you are about to choose and you are not sure always choose "και"!
