One of my Korean friends tell me that I never use 고투/고토 ,i dont know why,somebody can explain for me?

최선생님,정말 감사합니다.I said one of my Korean friends who advised to avoid saying that word.In fact,that my korean friend is a Chinese.They all named by 조선족(朝鮮族) .They escaped for War,when WAR II and became a new 민족(nationality) group,I dont know whether you can realise what I described or not.May 고토 is belong to their customed expess way,hah.I am sure it is not 같어/같아.In any case,same thank you a lot.

I guess it from your example sentence below. One of they said,"임마,쓰레기 고토,넌". It can make sense only with 같어. We don't use 고토 in everyday conversation. Also we don't say 고토 as 촌놈.

임마, 쓰레가 같어, 넌! 같어! Actually, 같아! is correct form and 같어! is wrong expression. 같아! means literally like, It seems like, looks like, sounds like~. or equal, the same similar etc.
