I am trying to say "10 great Japanese songs
by various artists"

I am having trouble with the grammar, and am not sure if I am supposed to use a counter for songs.

Would it make sense for me to say this:
「色色歌手で日本の音楽は２６５だ。」

I'm sorry but this sentence  "色色歌手で日本の音楽は２６５だ。" doesn't make sense. Where did the 265 come from?

If you want to say "10 great Japanese songs by various artists", it should be:
" 様々なアーティストによる１０曲の素晴らしい日本の歌。"
(In hiragana/katakana, that is: さまざまなアーティストによる１０きょくのすばらしいにほんのうた。)
