You have to install russian language pack for microsoft office in order to use spell/grammar checker.

Or you can try LibreOffice with russian spellcheck extension: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/russian-spellcheck-dictionary.-based-on-works-of-aot-group

you can check your orthography online here: http://www.orfo.ru/online/

type your text and click 'проверить'.

alternatively, you can use MS spell-check modules for MS Office: http://www.microsoft.com/ru-ru/download/details.aspx?id=35400

the link is for office 2013, but you can find downloads for other versions too.
