I want to check if I have used well the article in the following sentences:
1. The youngest boy has just started going to school.
2. She lives on the top floor of an old building. When (the?) wind blows, all (the?) windows rattle.
3. Darkness don't worry cats.
4. Do you know the time? Yes, the clock in the hall has just struck nine.
5. His mother went to the school to talk to the headmaster.
6. On Sundays my father stay in bed till ten reading the Sunday newspaper.
7. When the Titanic was crossing the Atlantic it struck an iceberg.
8. He said he was an employee of the gas company and had come to read the meter.
9.Number a hundred and two, (the?) house next door to us, is for sale.
10. I don't watch television very often.
11.Kate never writes letters.

13. We can go by car if you wash the car first?
