Did you mean: The outcome of helping people is to make us feel better. ?
Helping people can help us connect with the person. (Momentarily is not a good word, I think. It usually means literally seconds, which I think diminishes the meaning of your sentence)
Those who... Did you really mean 'fatal'? As in 'will kill'? That's very strong. 
Also the grammar is wrong: 'They can be fatal'. People are not fatal. Actions can be fatal. You need to rephrase it.
'Disgusting' and 'generalization' don't really go together. One is extremely strong, and specific, and the other is very non-specific. I can't think what you mean by those two words. Perhaps an example would help?
