devo scappare--------I need italiano and English speaker to explain to me
In italia, ho sentito una volta mio professore lo ha detto.
Ha il significato "Ho fretta", si' o no? Perche'?
Anche un altra volta, ho sentito "We have to fly". Then they go up to their bicycle and go away fast.
La mia domanda e'
1. Posso dire "Devo volare"?
2. Posso dire "I have to escape" to mean "I am hurry".

"devo scappare" means "I have to do something very urgent and I need to go because I'm in hurry"
"scappare" means "to escape, to run away, to bolt"
in this case "devo scappare" resembles the image of a person in hurry.
"devo volare" is not used, but you can use "volo" (flight) in some cases like this one:
a: "mi prepari la colazione?"
b: "te la faccio al volo" (I'll do it quickly, but I'm not sure it will be careful and precise as usual)
or:
"vado di fretta, e mangio una cosa al volo" (I eat something quickly)

"Devo volare" non si usa. Si dice "devo scappare" oppure "vado di fretta" o "devo sbrigarmi" o "devo darmi una mossa".

Non sono italiano, ma l'espressione inglese (informale) "we have to fly" è simile a quella italiana "dobbiamo scappare." Vogliono dire non solamente che abbiamo fretta, ma più specificamente che dobbiamo andare via. Anche "have to fly" means not only that we are in a hurry, but that we are in a hurry to leave, or to go somewhere else. A less idiomatic way of saying that would be "I have to get out of here." You could say "I've got to escape," but it's a lot less common. Note that in English, "have to" and "'ve got to" are interchangeable. Spero che il mio commento ti serva.
