Songs and movies help so much about that. But, I think, the best way is reading passages

I know a lot of people use movies with subtitles to help them learn. Or music.

I select some particular words using Internet. Then I write sentences using different grammar pattern. It was really efficacious way to improve my English and Japanese vocabulary.

Then you can play with them :)
