What's the difference between "I can't catch you" and "I can't follow you"
What's the difference between "I can't catch you" and "I can't follow you" when the one you talk with is speaking too fast.

"I can't follow you" if someone is talking too fast.
You might say "I didn't catch that" if you were listening but didn't understand what the person said.

"I can't catch you" may be more of an American saying. In England we would be more likely to say "Sorry, I'm finding it hard to follow you." whilst the person is speaking and "Sorry, I didn't catch what you said." after they have finished speaking.
