Does 誰も mean anyone or no one?
I've heard the word 誰も being used in both contexts. Is there a way to tell which one it means in the given sentence? Or is there a better, distinct word for anyone or no one?
I add a little to massart.
誰も=no one.
誰も~ない is a set phrase.
anyone=誰か, 誰でも
ex, Is there anyone who can speak Japanese? 誰か日本語が話せる人はいますか?

誰でも (anyone/ everyone/ everybody/ anybody)
誰も〜ない (no one /none /nobody )
誰も is always used with ない as a negative form of 誰でも, so 誰も is just only a part of it.
Ex)
None of my family can drive a car. (= 家族の誰も車を運転できない。)
Anyone of my family can drive a car. (= 家族の誰でも車を運転できる。)
