The first sentence in English doesn't sound quite right to me. And it appears that you omitted the idea of "возрастает". My Russian is far from good, and I am probably wrong, but should the following be two separate sentences in Russian: "В современном мире возрастает роль образования. Для развития ...... работники." ? If so: "In the modern world, the role of education is growing. The development of technology and economics requires competent workers. The efficiency of institutions of higher education can be assessed by according to the employment of its graduates."

Grammar is great! My only suggestion is, at "...the role of education for the development of technology and economy...", you should replace 'for' with 'in'. In this particular context, 'in the development' is suggesting an active participation, while 'for the development' suggests a static role; being intended, but not active.
