difference entre chemise et chemisier

Les hommes portent des chemises ("shirts" en anglais) et les femmes portent des chemisiers ("blouses" en anglais et en québecois). Un indice pour les distinguer quand il n'y a personne dedans ? Sur une chemise, les boutons sont cousus à droite, et sur un chemisier, ils sont cousus à gauche !
