I don't know the context but if the expression "no point" made you wonder, it means that there is no reason or no sense behind something. "There is no point in doing this." means: "It doesn't make any sense to do this." "There is no reason to do this." So basically "There is no point in having different options." means that there is no logical reason for those different options to be there.

"No point" means that there is "no benefit" of having those separate options.
