You can say that, it's concise [short] and 'punchy' [vigorous,dramatic]. I like it !

I think "this is the era of information explosion" sounds right but "thus is the era of information expansion" sounds better, but it's all in what you want to say. The word "explosion" gives the feeling of spreading rapidly almost dangerously, while "expansion" gives more of the feeling of spreading calmly.

This phrase works. You could also say "This is the Information Explosion Era"
