Hello Leela, I teach Dutch and the first webpage I give my students, is www.learndutch.org. There is a free course with video's of the first 1000 words in Dutch. :) Basic vocab is key in learning a new language! And these video's are fun. They have a quiz at the end. In my view, the best way to learn a language is to use multiple ways at the same time. I prefer to (1) study a manual with texts are grammar exercises; (2) listen to an audio course (the assimilated METODE I like better): we can listen when you walk, makes the sports, driving the car etc., then write dictations; (3) see facil film; (4) find native friends on this site and talk with them about any things. With all that we may well learn a language.
