What's meant by "stock" here? capital infrastructure stock of fixed capital equipment in a country.

I need a little more context to be 100% sure but it seems like it is talking about stock with regards to the amount of inventory they have of equipment that is classed as 'fixed capital' (a fixed asset). So stock here means the quantity/stockpile/amount etc. Is that clear?
