일을 끝내다 vs 일을 마치다

끝내다: You literally finished the job. Nothing left to do for that particular job.
목표를 달성하여 더 할 일이 남아있지 않았다는 뜻입니다.

마치다: You stop working because maybe it's time to go home.
작업을 종료하는 것을 뜻합니다. 일이 끝났건 안 끝났건 퇴근시간이라 집에 가는 경우 일을 마치고 간다고 합니다.

위의 두 단어를 합한 "끝마치다"라는 단어도 있습니다. 두 가지 모두 해당되는 경우 사용합니다. (일을 끝내고 일과를 종료함)
