How do you express "gracias por las fotos" in English?
Hi!!... I have a friend he send my some pictures (photos) and I say him: "I thank you by photos". But he say me it is wrong, he say me "I thank you for the photos". Which answer is correct? Which is the correct answer?. I thank you.
¡Hola!, tengo un amigo que me envió algunas fotos, y le agradecí, le dije: "gracias por las fotos". Pero él me dice que está expresión de agradecimiento está mal escrita, y me dijo que se debe de escribir: "I thank you for the photos". Pero "for the" me parece incorrecto usarlas, se traduce raro. ¿Cuál respuesta es correcta?, gracias por tu ayuda.

2. Thanks for the photos. (informal)

Hello Gabriela, your friend is right.
You thank someone FOR something or FOR doing something.
Thank you for the photos.
I thank you for your time.
Thank you for what you did.
Thank you for coming.
