If I understand correctly, you are trying to find out the difference between the words stuff and things. Well, stuff is an unaccountable noun and informal, you can't say "I have two stuffs." So it can't have an "s" on the end either. You could say, "I have a lot of stuff to move".
Regarding, things: It's also a noun, but in this sense it's countable. So you can say "I have two things."
Of course the meaning of both words, things and stuff is actually very similar, so it unsurprising that people often confuse them. Just remember that stuff is uncountable and thing(s) is countable.
I hope that helps!

"Stuff" is a singular noun that refers to an amount of items that cannot be counted or items that are not specified. For example:
"I have a lot of stuff in my room." Stuff is any possible thing that could be in the room, and by that logic, we can't count them all. I mean you could, but the idea is that you are not taking the actual number of items into consideration.
or "I have a lot of stuff in my garage." Same idea.
"Things" is used when you are specifying, or identifying, the items.
"I have 2 things in my purse." There are 2 items in the bag, which is perfectly countable and specific. By giving the exact number, you are taking the number into consideration. The assumption here is that you are going to identify the items you are counting or that you are using the number to make some type of comparison or connection to what someone else has previously said. For example, your friend may have asked, "How much stuff is in your bag? Do you have space for my phone?" and you would reply, "I only have 2 things in my purse. There's plenty of space for your phone." Therefore, the plural "things" is used.
I hope I cleared things (:P) up for you. :) English can be really confusing sometimes. :/

"I have 2 things" would be correct in this context. :)
