When someone wants to pay my beer or coffee and I want to say that I got it and not to be rude.
Hello Friends
How can I express myself when someone wants to pay my beer or coffee and I want to say that I got it and not to be rude. Is there any phrase or expression that I could use?
and If I want to pay this time for my coffee and my friends, is it ok to say "I got it" or " my treat"
thanks!!!
Hi Paulina- You would want to say 'when someone wants to pay FOR your beer or drink'. Yes, 'my treat' would work or 'this is on me' would also work.

UnPolyglot got it mostly right but I would ammend that for correct grammar it would be "I've got it."

"No thank you; I got it" would be an informal polite way of declining their offer to pay.
"I got it" and "my treat" are both perfectly acceptable ways to offer to pay for someone else's food, though most people would probably prefer "my treat".
