Difference between DONO and DORE
本はどれですか。
どの本ですか。
Do they both mean the same thing or is there a difference in meaning?

The meanings are a bit different:
本はどれですか? Would mean "Which one is the book?" どれ means "which one" and is used to refer back to a previously mentioned object.
どの本ですか? Would mean "Which book?" どの is always placed before a noun and can therefore not stand alone.
To remember the difference between どれ and どの, remember that the particle の, when used on its own, is also connected to nouns.
I hope this helps. If you have further questions. Please let me know.

C'è una idea in giapponese "ko-so-a-do" palore. Tutti con "re" oppure "no" fanno esattamente come "dore" e "dono" variazione. Come Lee-san a scritto, "dore" è un oggietto, "dono" è un aggettivo.
Ko - qualcosa è vicino, e puoi indicare con mano.
So- qualcosa è vicino di qualcuno con chi parli adesso.
A- qualcosa è lontano anche di te e di qualcuno con chi parli adesso.
Do- per donamda.
