As a noun it means a specific location. As a verb, it means to speak formally, except when talking about sending something (like a letter) in which case it means to label something with details of a location.
Examples: During my address (verb: to speak formally) to the school I accidentally told them my address (noun: specific location). Later everyone addressed (past tense verb: to label with details of a location) their envelopes to me.
